23 October 2014
On Tuesday 23rd at Whitefield School the whole school gathered together for a massive assembly to vote who should be head girl for 2014.It was huge and the ten candy dates were excited but nervous inside.
However, Mrs Foster told us that it is scary to stand up and talk to the whole school. When Mrs Foster had stopped talking the candidates began to speak. They had many amazing ideas and here are a few of them.
They had the ideas of not having the same meal ever Friday, more use of the adventure playground as we don't use it very often. Also Whitefields got talent followed by a picnic area and letters to other countries. More clubs like cooking, gymnastics and dancing. They also liked the idea of football nets for the boys and would like to bring in a bigger variety of snacks. One of the candidates had the idea of helping KS1 in the morning hang their bags up and taking their coats off. Another of the candidates suggested a mini Olympics and for some parents to sponsor an event for charity. Also they liked the idea of a staff Christmas panto where all the staff will take part. Students might also be attending pond dipping classes and a tallest sunflower competition over the six week holiday.
So that was our brilliant assembly, now all we had to do was vote.
In the end we had the results that our head girl is Mackenzie and along side Mackenzie is our deputy head girl Harriot. Thank you for reading my report on the assembly that's all from me.
Thank you
