Mrs Foster’s final news of the year!

 

Can you believe we are at this point in the year? Before we know it, it will be Christmas!

 

A couple of things to note as we finish for the summer:

 

Don’t forget, our school uniform is now supplied via Justs clothing in Penwortham.  We have introduced a PE hoodie this year in the house colours; something that will be very useful for outdoor PE.

 

Dates have been set in the diary for the coming year – I’ll post these on the website and Facebook before we finish tomorrow so you can get them in your diaries.

And school term dates for 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2019/20 are already posted on the school website so you can really plan ahead for your holidays!

 

We have some staff leaving us this year:

Mrs Gildert is retiring after many years at Whitefield. We wish her all the very best.

And Miss Vohra is moving on to another post and we wish her lots of luck.

 

We have exciting school news for over the summer:

Mr Jackson is getting married to Roisin in August and Miss Halalat is marrying Tariq at the end of July. So we can’t wait to see the wedding photos!

 

School will be open over the summer as The Nest holiday club will be in school. 

Don’t forget, back to school on Monday 4^th September!

 

Finally, I would like to say thank you so much, as always, for all your support over the last year.  You really make us proud to be Whitefield!

From myself, I would like to thank you all for the support over the last month as I returned to school following my illness.  The love I have felt from our Whitefield family has been overwhelming and I finish the term feeling blessed to work in such an amazing school with such fantastic children, families and staff.

 

Have an amazing summer whatever you do – we will be on the motorway very early Saturday morning as we make our way to France and see Sterling Knight, our caravan, for the first time in a year. Can’t wait. Don’t forget to say your sunshine prayers.
