Social Media and children

Dear Parents

 

We are again going through some difficulties within school that are linked to social media sites and our children using them in inappropriate ways.

 

I urge you all to check the content of communications between your children and others and that your children are aware that you will regularly do this.

 

We have had some incidents from outside school that have been brought in to school and thus caused problems between children, resulting in valuable learning time being taken up sorting out these issues.

 

My advice as always is don't allow your children to use these sites, however if you choose to allow them, please ensure they know that you are regularly checking the content.
