F.B.A. News

On Wednesday 21st May 2014, 4 girls from year 6, Asha, Charlotte, Hannah and Bethany, went to St Maria Goretti Primary School in Preston to meet the Author Emma Barnes.  Emma's book Wolfie won the Lancashire FBA (Fantastic Book Awards) competition. 

 

The children from the school made a presentation in assembly about FBA, they all preferred Wolfie but didn't know the authori was actually sitting in the audience!  Emma Barnes told us how she became a writer, read some chapters from her book and gave us useful top tips on how to write.  Afterwards we took part in a story writing workshop and had the opportunity to buy her books and have them signed personally.
