Mrs Foster's Final News before the summer!

I can't believe it is now the end of term!  We have had a fantastic year at Whitefield and we look forward to the next one after some much needed rest!

 

We say goodbye today to a wonderful group of Year 6 children who will be greatly missed in school.  It is going to be so quiet without you all! We will miss you but you will have a great time at high school and we look forward to hearing what everyone gets up to!  We are also saying goodbye to a number of families who have their last child at Whitefield and I would personally like to say thank you to you all for being such wonderful and supportive parents in the last six years I have been with you all!  

 

Don't forget - the holiday dates for 2015/16 are on the school website and the dates for 2016/17 will be on early in September. Remember that in 2016 it's the 'funny Easter holidays'!  We have a long weekend for Good Friday and Easter Monday and then we have a two week break two weeks later!  Make sure you check before booking holidays and don't forget we have two weeks for the May half term holiday again.

 

We return to school on Wednesday 2nd September (Year 1-6), 8.50am.  All the children have been shown where they come in to school and which exit they leave by so hopefully they will be able to tell you after the five week holiday!

 

I wish you all a wonderful summer whatever you get up to. I hope we haven't had all our summer sunshine and that if you are staying local that the sun shines for you.  The Foster Three are off in the van pootling around Holland, Luxembourg and France for the summer.  I can't wait to see you all in September!
