Science Week
26 March 2015
Last week in school we celebrated National Science Week. There was lots of exciting science going on around school. We had a visit from MAD SCIENCE who did a fantastic whole school science show for us all about air and forces. Some children enjoyed a ride on a hover board and the children were very excited by the big explosion at the end.
Reception and Key Stage One had another great science show put on by the staff from Priory Academy. We learnt all about how we cannot trust our senses and were amazed by different chemical reactions, including a magic trick of turning water into wine.
Year 3,4, and 5 were visited by Hutton teachers and students, who did some fantastic science experiments in class, including some 'sticky science' and using data loggers.
